About me
Tania Little is an accomplished executive with CEO and C-suite experience and 30 years of experience advancing mission, revenue, and systems change across Canada’s social-impact sector. She has generated more than $750M in philanthropic and in-kind support through major gifts, corporate partnerships, and integrated marketing campaigns, while leading high-performing teams and complex operations.
Currently, Tania is the Interim CEO for the National Gallery of Canada Foundation. Formerly, she was the CEO of RMHC Toronto, where she oversaw an 81-suite 24/7 facility, seven Family Rooms, 80 staff, and 350 volunteers—strengthening owner/operator relations and delivering the organization’s most successful McHappy Day campaign. Tania also served as Interim CEO at Ontario Shores Foundation, guiding the board through executive transition, stabilizing operations, and positioning the organization to launch its first major capital campaign. Previously, as Chief Development & Partnerships Officer at Food Banks Canada, she demonstrated her ability to scale systems, architect multi-million-dollar campaigns (including a $150M COVID-19 Response Fund), cultivate major national and multi-national donors, and steward a complex federated network of 4,750 organizations, growing the organization over 3,700% during her tenure.
A governance-minded senior leader, Tania is deeply experienced in board partnership, risk oversight, performance management, and organizational modernization. She holds multiple executive certificates from Harvard, MIT, Ivey, Rotman, and Cornell, and brings two decades of board service—including local, national and global leadership roles with the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In addition, Tania maintains the CFRE (fundraising executive), CSR-P (sustainability practitioner) and GCB.D (Board ESG) designations.
Tania is known for her clarity, strategic courage, systems thinking, and ability to mobilize people—board members, donors, partners, employees, and volunteers—around ambitious, mission-driven goals.
