About me
Aneil Gokhale is Lead, Philanthropic Advisory Services at Toronto Foundation, where he helps individuals, families, and professional advisors design values-based approaches to giving. Since joining in July 2012, he has helped grow the Foundation's platform from a few hundred funds to over 1,000, while engaging a more diverse and next generation of philanthropists.
A sought-after speaker and trusted connector, Aneil's work focuses on next-generation philanthropy, values-based giving, and community-centric approaches to fundraising. He has developed and led learning experiences and practical tools, such as Ground Your Giving, that help donors translate their values into meaningful, community-connected impact. He also advances innovative charitable investing strategies that align capital with community priorities.
Aneil serves on the boards of Visions of Science and Myriad Canada and is an active member of CAGP and the Estate Planning Council of Toronto. Born and raised in Scarborough, he is a proud husband, father, and community coach, and a lifelong Blue Jays fan.
