About me
Long before "digital transformation" became mainstream, Ryann Miller (she/her) was speaking at fundraising conferences about digital being more than just tools and tech, why that matters and what to do about it. She pushed the conversation beyond platforms and campaigns, framing digital as strategy, culture and ways of working, that in turn shape how organizations raise money and deliver on missions.
Today, she helps nonprofits find their bearings in the AI era so they can stay focused on what matters most: mission impact, supporters and donors, and staff.
Ryann is the founder of Spark & Signal and a 22-year nonprofit veteran specializing in digital strategy, fundraising transformation, and organizational readiness for technological change. She works with nonprofit teams and leadership across three interconnected layers of AI + digital strategy: building shared orientation around what's actually happening inside and outside the organization; establishing values-based decision frameworks and governance structures; and translating all of that into operational practice, day-to-day workflows, and action plans.
She is known for bridging the gap between strategic intent and human adoption, helping EDs, teams and boards move from uncertainty to structured, scalable action. As a queer parent living with ADHD, she brings clarity, empathy and systems thinking to organizations navigating change under pressure. Also, hopefully, some laughs and a killer soundtrack.
